Everyone waits for that perfect moment to gather their gear, choose their destination, schedule their trip and book their flight. Nonetheless, no matter what preparation we undergo and no matter the destination, it will always be the feeling of being able to travel that we are always after. Not to mention the countless spots and sceneries that we get see and the many experiences that we can only keep in our memories after that trip. Being able to travel, for some, may mean being able to escape a toxic career for a short amount of time. Others just crave the busy streets of a foreign city or the exotic food that comes along with it. Most people engage in it just to relax and unwind. It is one of the more sophisticated ways of taking a break.
However, going around places is one thing but being able to share our experiences is another thing coupled with the ecstatic feeling of reminiscing the joys of the past trip. Enjoying ourselves, being captivated by the view and meeting new people are just some of the many perks of travelling and these are things that shouldn’t just be kept in a box. That is why a lot of people engage themselves in travel blogging. It is like letting others benefit as well from our blessings.
Travel blogging is a great venue where we can share our experiences during trips and what is great about it is that we get to control what appears in our blog and how it is going to look like. We get to feature the scenic views of a particular place and let other people know what they are missing. Aside from that, we can also help people learn a lot from our trips just like how we learned from it. These include being able to share the places they should visit, what foods to try, activities to do, fares, and everything else that they need to know about traveling to a particular place.
Creating a blog gives us the power to write about everything that happened in our trip, even up to the smallest detail and people don’t get to judge us for that since it is our blog and we own it. We could write our entire itinerary and some people might actually be thankful because they’ll have something to follow. It is up to us how we would like to frame and share our memories to other people by writing about it. It becomes just like an online public diary that is something to look forward to after every trip.
Overall, travelling does not have to be just a matter of enjoying ourselves and escaping from the busy workload we have or the stress from our school works. It could also serve purposes other than those for our own personal benefit. Travelling could also be reason or means to be motivated to add more memories to our lives and other people’s lives. It could mean more than just a bulk of pictures in an album saved our computers. Travel blogging gives us the ability to give a caption to the best picture we have taken and share so that others may see it too.
